Gosh darn, I never thought when I ordered my first round of Le bon shoppe socks for Kiosk that this brand would be (deservedly ) so popular.
I was personally drawn to the red Her sock that is still in circulation in my daily life 2 years on.
The natural progression was to then hold a small holding of the T-shirts, Balloon pants and basketball shorts.
Because Kiosk is an everyday / essentials / travel goods store and not a fashion platform I really only want to carry the Le bon shoppe classics in a very minimal schedule of colours. Le bon shoppe do some incredible colour ways and wardrobe pieces that are enviable but I don't want to over complicate my offering or indeed over extend Kiosk.
The mens extended sock has been a great addition to the store- why ladies should we have all the fun and other than the socks the sell out piece has to be the Her Tee in classic white. Coincidence or not but that is also the Tee I wear the most and I can honestly say although a bit less new and more battered than they used to be, there is not a wearing that goes by when I don't catch the neckline or the hem in the mirror as I'm passing and recognise how much I love the fit and style still to this day.
Le bon shoppe brings a cool Californian style that is edgy but not trying to hard, the company has a great philosophy accepting they are in the fashion industry but trying to play the game with a moral compass and diligent work ethic.
I would hope that Kiosk will have a long relationship with Le bon shoppe and that in turn you will convince yourself to try your first piece. But please don't come to me when one is not enough.
