Australian organic beeswax tea light candles beside recycled aluminium tea light holding tins

Northern Light. Tea Light Beeswax

Australian pure beeswax tealight candles that have been made since 1995. Like dance music all good things happened in the 90s.

Undoubtably the most famous Australian beeswax tea light candles, what these little guys lack in stature they make up for in pure beeswax candle light and scent.

A simple way to change the mood in a room, prepare the dining table for a meal or adorn the bath for some most welcome me-time.

Care:

Allow candle to burn for a minimum of 2 hours, allowing the candle walls to become molten and avoid tunnelling.

Once the tea light has 1/4 – 2/3 left allow to burn out completely, this will avoid left over wax due to insufficient wick left to create required heat.

Pair with the matching tin to keep the draft away from your candle and provide you with the best chance of burning it all the way to he bottom without waste and dripping.

Dimensions:

25mm high x 40mm wide

  • The soft white dots (Blooms) on a candle

The soft white dots/bubbles you are referring to are called blooms.

Blooms are a natural occurrence with pure beeswax candles, during colder periods of the year the natural soft oils within beeswax slowly rise to the surface of the candle as the beeswax cools and contracts.

This natural occurrence is a great sign as to the purity of our beeswax candles as any form of adulteration to beeswax will hinder/stop this process.

The blooms can be removed by placing the candles near a heater or by polishing with a white cotton cloth
